How it works
Here's how the planned clubs will work: shared interests, a project to build together, and a feed for exchanging ideas. Clubs start with a few schools, with international clubs planned as the network grows.
- 1
Join clubs
Students join the clubs they love, as many as they like. Can't find your thing? Get 3 students to commit to a new club, your school's mod gives the OK, and you're in. The first mod to take it on writes its starter prompt.
- 2
Pick a project
Anyone in the club can suggest a project, and the whole club votes. More than half saying yes and it's on. If you don't vote, that counts as a yes.
- 3
Work on a project
Each club works toward a project over about three months. There's no teacher-led curriculum, so partner schools don't need matching timetables.
- 4
Share progress
Students post updates, questions and work in progress to their club's feed, where others comment and react. They can also message each other or start a private space to work in a smaller group, and send pictures and stickers there, but never links or videos.
- 5
Get reviewed
Your club picks a project together. If the students and mods are happy with it, you're rolling. When it's done, a quick check and a mod's thumbs-up put it in the showcase.
- 6
Show it off
Approved projects are featured in a public showcase on this site. Students appear only by username, school and country.
- 7
Earn a reward
Finish something great and there's a real reward, from your school or from Wonderkids, maybe even at an end-of-year celebration.
